Day by day tour itinerary:
Day 1: Our staff will meet you and transfer to the center of capital city Ulaanbaatar . Guided city tour to Gandan Lamasery, Natural history museum and Choijin Lama Monastery. In the evening have a nice look to the city from the Zaisan Memorial.
Day 2: After breakfast we start our journey leading to Umnudelger sum of Hentii province via Baganuur and Tsenkhermandal sums.
Day 3: Today we continue our trip towards Dadal village – the legendary birthplace of Chinggis Khan, where we visit Chingis Khan's monument, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of his birth and Deluun Boldog, which is considered to be the birthplace of the Great Khan.
Day 4: After exploring the local area and rest of sightseeing in the afternoon we will drive to the Binder sum.
Day 5: Today we will spend our time for exploring the historical sites related to Great Chinggis Khan, such as Onon Tsagaan Lake , Huree Uhaa, Huin Ovoo, Uglugchiin herem, Binder Ovoo and Rashaan Had.
Day 6: Today we drive to Huduu Aral sum, leading to the south-west. Arrive and visit Chingis Khan's monument and the ruins of an ancient historical site, known as Chingis Khan's winter palace.
Day 7: In the morning drive to Ihhet sum to see Senjit Khad (is a natural rock formation in the shape of an arch), Grave of Togoontumur Khan, 17th century, human stone monument and ruins from 17th century. Drive to the nomadic family.
Day 8: Stay at the family and join their daily activities.
Day 9: Drive to Sainshand city. In the afternoon visit to the famous Khamariin Khiid
Day 10: Drive to Khar Uul (Black Mountain). It takes two to three hours to hike to the mountain. It is one of the very holly mountains in Mongolia and one of two holly mountains in the world. The mountain is famous with its nature. We will have good chance to see rare wild sheep and ibexes.
Day 11: Drive to Khalzan Mountain. It is an area of natural springs and the locals believe that mineral water can cure everything
Day 12: Drive Terelj National Park. On the way in the park see ancient ovoo worship and turtle rock. Have a good rest after a long and interesting trip.
Day 13: Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Free for your leisure. In the evening enjoy traditional folklore concert. Farewell dinner hosted by our company.
Day 14: Your honored guide and driver will see you off.
